Company wide compliance will ensure that the RTW Program is a complete success.

  Essential Job Demands Analysis

Without an accurate job description that includes the essential demands of a job, a company’s return-to-work program cannot be efficient. An accurate functional job description is necessary so that the treating physician has a good understanding of functional requirements of an injured employee’s job, thereby at times helping to minimize unnecessary work restrictions, while at other times helping to avoid releasing an employee back to full duty prematurely.

IH2S/OccUmed works closely with the client company to identify and document the physical demands of a job through an Essential Job Demands Analysis. This analysis may include, but is not limited to, the weights of the material handled; the required sustained and dynamic positioning; the number of repetitions, frequencies, and durations of activities; and the forces required to move objects. This data is then used to write an accurate and complete functional job description
